The cheaper alternative to EQQQ for Nasdaq-100 exposure. Same index, same holdings, 33% lower cost. Choose this over EQQQ unless your broker only carries EQQQ. Not a core holding — use alongside a broad global ETF.

CNDX tracks the same Nasdaq-100 index as EQQQ but at a lower TER (0.20% vs 0.30%). It holds the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq exchange, heavily weighted toward technology giants. A concentrated growth bet on US tech and innovation.

The Nasdaq-100 includes the 100 largest non-financial companies on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia, and Meta typically represent 35%+ of the index. Heavily concentrated in technology, communication services, and consumer discretionary.

US equivalent blocked in Europe

QQQ (Invesco QQQ Trust)

CNDX is the cheapest UCITS Nasdaq-100 tracker at 0.20% TER. For European investors blocked from QQQ by PRIIPs, CNDX provides identical exposure at the lowest available cost.

Why it works for European investors

  • Lowest TER for Nasdaq-100 UCITS exposure at 0.20%
  • 33% cheaper than the more well-known EQQQ (0.30%)
  • Physical replication of all 100 holdings
  • Ireland domicile for US dividend tax efficiency
  • Accumulating structure

Things to know

  • Extremely concentrated in US tech — not suitable as a sole holding
  • No financial companies — misses banks, insurance, and traditional finance
  • Has outperformed the S&P 500 over the past decade but past performance is not predictive
  • Higher volatility than broad market ETFs — larger drawdowns in downturns
  • Should be a satellite holding (10–25% of portfolio) alongside a core global ETF
